Responsibilities:
- SSP services clients in Madison and St. Clair counties in IL
- Assists senior citizens in household management and personal care including the following:
- Follow the client's written plan of care
- Light housekeeping to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, washing dishes, keeping the bathroom clean, helping clients clear clutter that may have accumulated, changing bed linens, laundry
- Monitor the client's health and environmental changes, and report to the CCP Supervisor as required
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals including special diets
- Client transportation and escort so our clients may take care of their shopping or run any necessary errands. For clients unable to get out on their own, we also provide shopping/errands for them.
- Provide necessary receipts and documentation for shopping transactions
- Personal care, bathing, shampooing, skincare, nail care, etc.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, CNA preferred
- Basic knowledge of home management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Highly motivated, honest, reliable, compassionate, responsible, cheerful, and patient
- Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit, and walk for periods of time

Primary Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Wellness Center Manager, the Personal Trainer is responsible for:
- Promoting and maintaining health and fitness by teaching group classes and conducting personal training sessions with Wellness members
- Conducting initial consultations with potential clients
- Facilitating initial physical assessments and providing new members with orientations or tours of the facility
- Develop individualized exercise programs for your clients including calling, scheduling, and working to ensure the overall safety of fitness participation facility-wide
Other Responsibilities:
- Gain experience in working with senior populations
- Plan fitness routines, choose appropriate music, and choose different movements for each set of muscles, depending on participants' capabilities and limitations
- Offer scalable alternatives during classes to accommodate different levels of fitness
- Observe members and inform them of corrective measures necessary for fitness improvements
- Teach proper techniques used during physical exertion
- Instruct participants how to maximize their benefits from exercise routines
- Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations governing sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment
- Weekly incentives can be earned by personal trainers that meet service hour requirements
- Personal training set shifts are available for personal trainers that meet criteria
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science preferred or Associate Degree and/or experience in social service, physiology, or related field
- Personal training certification from a nationally recognized organization required (ACE, ACSM, NASM, ISSA preferred)
- Current First Aid/AED Certification
- Required organizational ability and communication skills
- Experience working with older adults is a plus

Under the direction of the Home Repair lead, the Facility Maintenance staff is responsible for working to ensure all jobs related to the upkeep and maintenance of the facility are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.- Daily, weekly, monthly custodial duties

- Ordering and inventorying cleaning and maintenance supplies

Primary Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Home Repair Lead, this position is responsible for performing a variety of Home Repair type services (minor repairs). Expectations of this position include but are not limited to:- Meeting with homeowners to discuss their project and determining if it is within the scope of services SSP staff is equipped to handle.
- An active role in jobs providing customers in single family homes and mobile homes energy efficiency measures including repair/replacement of HVAC, installing insulation, and making repairs to update and ensure the home is energy efficient.
- Performing minor repairs to SSP properties (main building, Wellness Center, and the Agnes property).
- Preparing accurate estimates of potential projects that are broken down into categories (labor, materials, etc.) according to SSP policies and procedures.
- Actively participating in any projects that develop from SSP relationships as a Program Ally with Ameren.
- Other duties as assigned to meet company needs.
