What Does Community Resources Do?
The Community Resources program offers at-home help to older adults for assistance with honey-do tasks to help them live independently and thrive in their homes. This service is provided to any adult 55 or older that resides in Madison or St. Clair county.
What Kind of Jobs Do We Help With?
Our Community Resources volunteers can assist you with tasks such as:
- Sharing SSP & Community Resources Information
- Direct installs of light bulbs and other energy efficient items
- Socialization
- Tech assistance such as social media, account setup, app assistance, etc.
- Medicine and grocery pick up
- Replacing batters in carbon monoxide or smoke detectors
- Changing ceiling fan directions
- And more!
