Eligibility
Do You Qualify?
Homebound seniors aged 60 or older may qualify to receive our Meals on Wheels service. To see if you qualify, the Southern Illinois Visiting Nurses Association (SIVNA) must perform an in-home assessment. This appointment can be made through SIVNA at 618-236-5863 or we can make a referral.
Spouses of homebound seniors, regardless of age, may also qualify if approved by SIVNA.
People under the age of 60 who are disabled and would like to participate in the Meals on Wheels program may be eligible based on a Department of Human Services assessment through the Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS). Call 258-9808.
