Our Non-Medical In-Home Care Service provides clients with the assistance to live independently in the comfort of their homes. We provide assistance with cleaning, cooking, bathing, shopping and errands, and other day-to-day household chores, helping you or your loved one live independently at home. Our In-Home Care Service is available to Madison and St. Clair counties in Illinois. We have offices in Alton and Belleville in Illinois.

We provide a free needs assessment so that we can work with you to develop a plan of care that is tailored to your needs. Our home care aides are available 7 days a week from 6am - 9pm.

Trained and Qualified Staff

We want you to feel safe with our home care aides, so we go through rigorous testing to ensure that clients receive the best care possible. From the very start and throughout their employment, our home care aides are held to the high standards that you expect and our agency maintains such as:

A minimum of 24 hours of training for homemakers who are not Certified Nursing Assistants
Annual evaluations
Communications with previous employers

All employer responsibilities are handled, including taxes, insurance, benefits, and workers’ compensation. We train and supervise our home care aides. Our home care aides are licensed and insured.

First Steps to getting a Home Care Aide into the home:

After receiving the initial evaluation and having services deemed necessary and authorization has been sent over to SSP. Our scheduling team will then call and ask the following questions to insure we place the right Home Care Aide in the home.

What days and times of the week that work best for the client. (We cannot guarantee exact times that are being specified but we will do our best to accommodate as close as possible.)
Earliest and latest time the client would like someone in and out of the home.
Are there pets or smoking in the home?
Any special care and or transportation that will be needed from the Home Care Aide?

Quality and Assurance

Column

We have a Quality Assurance Department to assure service standards between the client and the home care aide. Quarterly and monthly calls are made to ensure the client and the home care aide are a good match and are receiving quality service.
