Right now, many older adults and families in your community aren't sure how they'll put food on the table. Many are working without pay due to the federal shutdown.
While our services primarily serve older adults and disabled adults, more people are in need today and we’re here to step up...with a plate.
SSP serves an average of 90 congregate meals daily and thousands of Meals on Wheels weekly. With your support and our capacity, we can fill your neighbors' plates.
SSP is able to provide a hot meal for $4.25. With your help, we can temporarily open this program to your neighbors needing help.
Your generosity ensures our Congregate Dining Program can step up with a plate and serve more fresh, healthy meals to older adults and neighbors in your community. Your support today will provide immediate help for our neighbors struggling with food insecurity.
We have a goal of serving 7,700 meals to older adults, your neighbors facing SNAP cuts, and your neighbors who are unpaid federal workers. With your support and our capacity, we can fill our neighbors' plates.
Any funds raised above and beyond our goal will be used to address food insecurity through initiatives like shelf-stable pantry boxes.
